The domestic stainless steel market ran stagnantly during the month. The demand from downstream industries shrank further as more and more plants slowed down production dragged by the high temperature. End users strictly purchased from hand to mouth. However, steel mills preferred to firm prices, which restrained the market prices from dropping obviously. Traders showed little confidence in the market prospect.
