As the supply droped further, prices of Chinese PrNd related products moved up in July 2026. Dragged by softened demand from NdFeB magnet industry, markets of praseodymium and neodymium related products declined. Since consumers became active in replenishing inventories, prices of dysprosium, terbium, gadolinium and yttrium related products rose. Markets of lanthanum and cerium related products saw stable prices. The demand from catalyst, glass and polishing powder industries showed steady trend.
The Japanese rare earth market witnessed few deals but upward prices due to limited inventories in local market. The South Korean and North American markets witnessed active inquiries and increasing prices. Dragged by the summer vacation, the European rare earth market saw limited buying activities.
