1. Market Highlights
In December, prices for Chinese HC ferrochrome, LC ferrochrome and silico-chrome went up under active purchasing activities. Prices for HC ferrochrome and LC ferrochrome in the US and prices for LC ferrochrome stayed stable under inactive buying activities, while prices for HC ferrochrome in Europe went up slightly. In India, the prices for HC ferrochrome went up.
In December, the in-port prices and import prices of South African, Turkish and Zimbabwean chrome ore went up under active buying activities.
Prices of Chinese chrome metal and chromium oxide green went down under inactive activities. Prices of chromic anhydride kept stable slightly in December.
