Magnesite: Due to the decreased operating rates of fused magnesia producers, the demand for high-grade magnesite shrinks, leading to lower prices.
Fused magnesia: Though the demand remains weak, most producers prefer to halt production than lower prices.
Dead burned magnesia: 90%min and 95%min prices remain unchanged supported by firm production cost. But 96.5%min and 97%min prices move down due to the reduced downstream demand.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Due to the expectation of that all reflection kilns expect to be dismantled by the end of October, producers raise prices.
