1.Market Highlights
Magnesite: Miners keep prices of raw magnesite stable with no hurry to sell. While, magnesite concentrate producers lower prices to compete for orders due to the reduced operating rates of downstream magnesia producers.
Fused magnesia: Due to reduced downstream demand, most producers lower prices to compete for orders and reduce production.
Dead burned magnesia: Supported by firm production cost, producers keep prices of 95%min, 96.5%min and 97%min stable, but lower prices of 90%min to compete for orders due to shrunk downstream demand.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Owing to decreased coal prices and reduced downstream demand, producers lower prices to compete for orders.
Magnesium aluminate spinel: Due to decreased alumina prices and reduced downstream demand, producers lower prices of spinel to compete for orders and part of the producers reduce production.
