1 Market Highlights
In October, prices of zinc ingot fluctuated around RMB25,000/t (USD3,521/t), but demand remained soft, most buyers purchased from hand to mouth.
In October, despite tight supply, most suppliers lifted TCs of zinc concentrate slightly, prices of zinc concentrate followed those of zinc ingot.
In October, the mainstream prices of zinc die-casting alloy, zinc powder and zinc oxide followed those of zinc ingot, with TCs for zinc die-casting alloy and zinc powder unchanged. Demand for zinc oxide and zinc die-casting kept weak, while demand for zinc powder was strong.
