1. Market Highlights
The domestic flat steel market ran slowly in the first half of the month, but warmed a little in the second half as end users watching the market placed orders actively boosted by the price rebound. The demand improved late this month with the weather getting cool. Discouraged by the losses and sales pressures, more and more steel mills cut production.
Meanwhile, the international flat steel market continued running slowly during the month, and the demand remained soft in most countries.
