1 Market Highlights
As the market saw tight supply of tin concentrate, most suppliers held back from selling and firmed their TCs stable. Therefore, the prices of tin concentrate increased this month.
As most downstream clients purchased actively for Spring Festival, the prices of tin ingot increased during the past month.
Most smelters in Yunnan and Jiangxi suspended production successively for maintenance since the beginning of this month; the supply of imported tin ingot kept sufficient.
Most suppliers of tin solder kept their TCs for promotion despite that the prices of raw materials moved up. Thus, the prices of tin solder increased during the past month. The end market demand has no significant improvement.
