As most downstream consumers remained inactive in sending inquiries, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate market prices decreased in July. As most suppliers competed for limited orders, Chinese tantalum oxide and tantalum metal market prices decreased this month. Encouraged by tight supply, Chinese imported niobium concentrate market prices increased in July. Due to higher raw materials prices, Chinese niobium oxide and ferroniobium market prices rose this month.
Discouraged by weak demand from downstream consumers, European tantalite, ferroniobium and American tantalum metal market prices decreased this month.
