    1 Market Highlights

Most suppliers of tin concentrate held back from selling caused by the news of Myanmar's ban on mining, many of them held their TCs steady due to limited supply despite that the prices of tin concentrate went up.

In June, the market demand kept weak and social inventories still remained a high level. However, as most smelters reduced production this month and the supply of imported tin ingot would also decrease due to narrow price differential, leading to the prices of tin ingot went up during the past month.

The prices of tin solder move up because of rising prices of raw materials. Most downstream clients purchased with cautious views during the past month, the terminal market demand recovered less than expected.
