Chinese stainless steel prices saw different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, and 300 series stainless steel bar in major markets of China rebounded during the month mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices, and those of 201 grade stainless HRC, 430 grade stainless CRC and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe went down further on weak demand, while those of 201 grade stainless CRC were generally stable. Customers still purchased materials sparingly due to insufficient orders and the market sales performance kept unsatisfactory.
