    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    Prebaked anode prices in China moved down quickly in January because of the reduced cost of pet coke and coal tar pitch. The demand became weak as well in southwest China.

    1.2 Pet coke

    Prices of pet coke dropped as a whole in January and deals turned thin during the Chinese Spring Festival holiday.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    Prices of graphite electrode reduced in January as the demand weakened both at home and abroad.

    1.4 CPC

    In January, CPC price went down in China because of the slipped pet coke prices.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    Coal tar pitch prices in China dropped sharply in January mainly because of the reduced coal tar prices and increased supply.
