    1 Market Highlights

As most downstream clients purchased actively before the Spring Festival, most producers of tin concentrate kept their TCs unchanged and increased their prices this month.

Most downstream clients replenished stocks due to Spring Festival and many tin ingot suppliers held positive views to the market. Therefore, they increased their prices this month.

Although most consumers waited on the sidelines and replenish stocks cautiously, the prices of raw materials went up in January and most tin solder producers kept TCs firm for sale. As a result, the prices of tin solder moved up in January.
