1. Market Highlights
In domestic market, prices remained downward trend through the whole month, because of weak demand and incoming holiday. For chemical grade silicon metal, downstream consumers have few intentions to replenish stocks due to sluggish demand, and prices went down continuously. In export market, prices remained stable in the first half due to volatility of exchange rate and moved down in the in the second half following the decreased prices in domestic market.
