In domestic market, given the rumors about restriction of power in Yunnan, producers tried to lift the prices, so the prices became relatively strong in September. For chemical grade silicon metal, consumers expect the prices to go down due to very weak downstream market, but producers intend to keep the prices firm with optimism of future market. In export market, prices went up strongly due to increasing prices in domestic market.
