1. Market Highlights
After the continuously sharp drop in past two months, CRC and HGI coil prices in major Chinese regions showed some signals of fluctuating this month. The demand from downstream industries failed to pick up obviously and steel mills became less active in production due to potential deficit. Following the stabilized trend in domestic market, CRC and HGI coil export prices did not show obvious change this month but there were few deals concluded due to weakening demand from overseas buyers.
In the international market, CRC prices in Malaysia, Vietnam and India as well as HGI coil prices in India all continued to decrease this month due to weak demand from downstream industries.
