Magnesite: As over half of the fused producers cut or even halted production successively in July, the demand for high grade magnesite reduced, leading to a price decrease of magnesite.

Fused magnesia: Due to the decreased operating rates of steel mills, the demand for fused magnesia reduced further in July. Therefore, most producers lowered their prices and cut production to promote sales and prevent stocks from increasing further.

Dead burned magnesia: Despite the weak market demand, most producers basically hold their prices firm in July based on firm production cost.

Caustic calcined magnesia: Despite the weak market demand, most producers basically hold their prices firm in July based on firm production cost.
