    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    In June, prebaked anode prices in China went down for the reduced pet coke prices and coal tar pitch. The demand improved further and producers increased production.

    1.2 Pet coke

    Pet coke prices in China went down in June and producers increased production after finishing equipment maintenance in Shandong. The purchase activity turned slow.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    Prices of graphite electrode went down both at home and abroad in June, as the steel market became sluggish leading to weak demand.

    1.4 CPC

    CPC prices in China dipped in June for the slipped pet coke price, but the supply remained tight.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    Average coal tar pitch prices dropped in June for the increased supply while the demand remained firm.
