In domestic market, weak demand of end market in both domestic and export market resulted in few sales, but producers intended to keep the prices firm. Therefore, the prices kept stable in general. For chemical grade silicon metal, the prices decreased week by week due to weak demand of silicone market, and producers had to lower prices due to increasing spot stocks. In export market, the market witnessed very few deals due to weak demand overseas, and prices decreased due to stronger USD and decreased purchase cost.
