1 Market Highlights
The mainstream prices of Chinese copper cathode increased with fluctuation in March encouraged by stable demand from consumers. Supported by firm production cost, most copper rod producers held their TCs firm in March. The mainstream TCs for imported copper concentrate went up in March due to soft demand and sufficient inventory. In view of price fluctuation for copper cathode prices, the mainstream copper concentrate prices followed suit and downstream clients purchased the material as scheduled. The copper scrap market witnessed increased prices driven by tight supply and strong demand. The prevailing prices for blister copper kept flat due to stable demand.
