The mainstream prices of zinc ingot went up this month considering the bullish attitudes of suppliers due to increased prices of energy, and the transactions of zinc ingot increased slightly in a whole as consumers restarted business but purchased cautiously under the increased prices of zinc ingot.
TCs of domestic zinc concentrate remained decreased in given the tight supply and good demand as smelters remained stable consumption but decreased purchasing ratio of imported zinc concentrate. The TCs of imported zinc concentrate went up under the watchful attitudes of domestic smelters.
Prices for zinc die-casting alloy, zinc oxide and zinc powder climbed following those for raw material zinc ingot. The spot market of zinc alloy and zinc oxide saw increased deals as consumers that restarted business after holiday needed to buy raw material but did not prepare enough inventory before holiday. Zinc powder transactions went up given the good demand.
