Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China saw a downward trend during this month on weak demand, while those of grain oriented electrical steel went up further mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices and the tight supply. Because of logistics problems caused by COVID-19 in some regions like East China, traders could not deliver materials regularly and the market sales performance remained unsatisfactory.
