The mainstream prices of zinc ingot went up slightly this month, and the spot market saw stable deals as consumers needed to replenish inventory because they restarted business normally after holiday but did not prepared much stocks before holiday. The supply of zinc ingot in Shanghai market remained tight as producers in Shaanxi, Sichuan and West Hunan reduced or halted production.
TCs of domestic zinc concentrate remained unchanged in a whole with last month given the tight supply and limited transactions. The TCs of imported zinc concentrate increased with big range under the increased supply and transactions.
Prices for zinc die-casting alloy, zinc oxide and zinc powder climbed with fluctuation following those for raw material zinc ingot. The spot market of zinc alloy and zinc oxide saw flat deals as prices of raw material remained at high level but consumers needed to purchase for restarting work. Zinc powder transactions went down as for the decreased consumption.
