In domestic market, the prices remained stable in the 1st half of February due to inactive market after Chinese New Year holiday, but the prices started increasing as producers have strong intention to lift the prices. For chemical grade silicon metal, producers have strong intention to lift the prices as they know silicone producers have broad margin. In export market, the prices moved up along with the increasing prices in domestic market, but demand remained low as most of buyers intend to watch the market.
