Driven by upward spodumene prices and strong demand, Chinese industrial grade lithium carbonate 99%min and Chinese battery grade lithium carbonate 99.5%min prices climbed in January. Consumers had difficulties in replenishing stocks owing to the tight supply.
The Chinese lithium hydroxide 56.5%min and lithium hydroxide 56.5%min, magnet 0.0001%max (battery grade) market saw rising prices in January supported by the soaring prices of lithium carbonate. Suppliers held back from selling.
Influenced by strong demand and rising lithium carbonate prices, Chinese LFP prices picked up in January. Consumers purchased stably.
Following with increasing prices of battery grade lithium carbonate, Chinese LNCMO prices kept edging up in January. Consumers purchased for immediate use under the high prices.
Chinese LCO prices increased in January due to rising prices of lithium carbonate and cobalt tetroxide. The market saw limited deals owing to the soft demand. Suppliers had difficulties in purchasing lithium carbonate.
