1. Market Highlights
Discouraged by weak demand, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate, tantalum oxide and tantalum metal prices decreased further in October. As supply remained tight, Chinese imported niobium concentrate prices increased this month. As raw material prices decreased, Chinese niobium oxide and ferroniobium prices increased.
As demand failed to pick up, European tantalite and ferroniobium market witnessed lower prices this month. Discouraged by lower production cost, American tantalum metal market prices decreased in October.
