In domestic market, the prices remained relatively stable in the1st half of July, and the prices rallied in the 2nd half as the second biggest producer of silicon metal in China suspended production due to security accident. For chemical grade silicon metal, prices continued going up due to tight supply. In export market, the market became active in the middle of this month, and became inactive with surged prices in the 2nd half.
