Magnesite: Due to the production safety inspection, part of the mines halted production in the second half of June. However, most producers held their prices basically stable as they could resume production soon in mid July.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Due to the recovered supply and increased inventory pressure during rainy season, most producers lowered their prices.
Dead burned magnesia: As most producers resumed production and the demand remains weak, most producers lowered their prices to compete for orders.
Fused magnesia: Due to the shrunken demand for magnesia carbon bricks from steel mills in China, most producers decreased their prices to promote sales.
