In domestic market, the prices fell evidently in the 1st half of April as producers in Xinjiang have huge amount of low grade silicon metal stocks, and they need to reduce stocks by lowering prices. The prices became stable in the middle of April as producer in Yunnan didn't resume production as expected. For chemical grade silicon metal, given limited spot stocks, the prices remained stable in most time of April. In export market, the prices went down massively with decreased prices in domestic market and stabilized in the 2nd half of April.
