    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    Chinese prebaked anode prices moved up continuously in April and the demand improved further because of the strong aluminum market. For better prices, prebaked anode producers in China increased production in April.

    1.2 Pet coke

    Pet coke prices in China continued rising in April for the strengthened demand but limited supply.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    In April, graphite electrode prices in China climbed both at home and abroad, as the raw materials' price increased and the demand both at home and abroad improved.

    1.4 CPC

    Because of the risen pet coke prices and strong demand, CPC prices in China went up in April.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    In April, coal tar pitch prices went up as a whole, as many producers cut production because of the new round of environmental inspection and the demand remained strong.
