Chinese stainless steel prices keep the upward trend during this month mainly supported by higher raw material costs and the increase in steel mills' EXW prices. Besides, the supply from steel mills remained insufficient and the market inventory continued to be low, which also supported stainless steel prices to go up. Nevertheless, because of the coming Spring Festival holiday, customers were purchasing upon orders and the market sales performance kept unsatisfying.
