On account of reducing stocks and increasing orders, most Chinese black silicon carbide suppliers lifted the prices. Therefore, the prices of Chinese black silicon carbide increased in October with increasing orders.
In October, although the prices of raw material petroleum coke increased, most green silicon carbide suppliers in China held the prices unchanged due to the weak demand. Thus, the prices of green silicon carbide in China stayed steady this month.
In view of the increased prices in domestic market and the depreciation of USD against CNY, the export prices of Chinese black silicon carbide increased in October.
In October, due to the stable prices in domestic market, the export prices of Chinese green silicon carbide kept unchanged.
