In domestic market, the upstream lifted the prices hugely after national holiday as they believe the demand remains quite strong while supply will decrease with the rainy coming to the end, but most of buyers kept rational. For chemical grade silicon metal, producers failed lifting the prices after national holiday, so the prices went flat throughout October. In export market, the prices increased massively because of increasing purchase cost, but the deals became fewer as foreign buyers could not accept current prices.
