Chinese stainless steel prices saw different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC, 201 grade stainless HRC, 430 grade stainless CRC, 300 series stainless bar and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe witnessed an upward trend during the month mainly supported by higher raw material costs and the increase in steel mills' list prices, while those of 304 grade stainless CRC and 201 grade stainless CRC remained stable. Customers without urgent need for materials still preferred to take a cautious attitude and refused to place orders, so the market sales performance did not become better.
