1. Market Highlights
As most consumers delayed purchasing, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate and niobium concentrate prices decreased further in August. Chinese tantalum oxide and niobium oxide, ferroniobium prices decreased accordingly due to lower raw materials prices.
As most traders competed for limited orders, European tantalite and ferroniobium market prices decreased in August. Discouraged by the poor demand American tantalum metal market prices decreased this month.
