1. Market Highlights
As the demand remained weak from end users, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate prices decreased in July. As major suppliers refused to accept lower prices due to tight supply, Chinese imported niobium concentrate prices increased slightly. Chinese tantalum oxide and niobium oxide, ferroniobium prices decreased further due to soft demand.
Discouraged by the poor demand, European tantalite and ferroniobium market prices decreased in July. As most consumers held back from placing orders, American tantalum metal market prices decreased further this month.
