Some bismuth ingot 99.99%min producers suspended production during the Spring Festival, so the output in China fell by 23% MOM. In January, downstream demand kept weak, and some suppliers continued to lower prices in early January, so prices for bismuth ingot 99.99%min kept falling. In late January, the market was sluggish because insiders all took the Spring Festival holiday. As bismuth ingot 99.99%min prices fell, those for bismuth oxide 99.9%min continued to move down.
Affected by the falling bismuth ingot 99.99%min prices in China, export prices for the material also showed downtrend. Overseas consumers still purchased on demand, so the prices lack momentum to rise.
