1. Market Highlights
In January, as some Chinese suppliers were in a hurry to get money before the Spring Festival, they began to mark down their offers to get more orders, so the mainstream prices showed the weakening trend during this month. Downstream consumers only purchased for orders, refusing to hold more stocks before the holiday.
The export market ran quiet with stable deals and overseas buyers generally held wait-and-see attitudes on account of the decreasing prices.
Both European and American market saw inactive buying activities during January given that the weak demand.
