    1. Market Highlights

In July, silicomanganese transactions were stable in China with prices at RMB7,400-7,600/t (USD1,047-1,076/t) EXW D/P. By the end of the month, as electricity charges in Guizhou and Guangxi deceased, the profit of silicomanganese rose, so producers who halted production previously began to resume production, leading to more supply. As a result, the prices edged down by RMB50/t (USD7.08/t).

Manganese ore prices slipped continuously in July.
