1. Market Highlights
From early and the middle of January, prices of antimony ingot 99.65%min and 99.85%min in China kept dropping affected by the inactive purchases of downstream buyers. Late this month, the prices showed a stable trend after most downstream consumers suspended production. As for antimony trioxide, as most consumers finished replenishment in December and held sufficient inventory, the demand for antimony trioxide was soft in January, and the price showed a downward trend.
As some countries were still in holiday in early January, both enquiries and transactions were scarce. In late January, there were more enquiries for antimony ingot, and the export volume of antimony trioxide remained the same as that in December.
