In December, mainstream prices for Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min fell first and then rose. In the first half of the month, most producers continued to lower prices to sell due to the financial pressure from loan repayment. In the second half of the month, they started to raise prices after their fund pressure eased. Transactions in spot market were active in the month. Insiders predict that prices for Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min would rise slowly in January 2019 as most small producers were shut down due to the environmental inspection.
