Chinese copper prices fell below the levels of RMB49,000/t (USD7,258/t) and RMB48,000/t (USD7,119/t) in succession in December 2018 and dropped to as low as RMB47,800/t (USD7,089/t) late this month but soon rebounded to the level above RMB48,000/t (USD7,119/t)
. International copper price also went down with a slight decline in LME copper inventory . In addition, the US dollar index edged down and the Yuan-to-Dollar exchange rate kept stable . Chinese copper inventoty declined but that in in free trade zone increased.
