In December, the demand of international and Chinese molybdenum market both kept soft. Prices of nearly all molybdenum products dropped. In China, as prices of stainless steel kept dropping and many steel mills reduced production, the molybdenum lost its' market support. Molybdenum producers had to drop their prices to adapt to the market development. Most insiders were said for the current market.
