In November, contrary to vanadium products prices in Chinese market, those in the international market rose slowly. As domestic rebar prices fell, most steel mills strove to lower their purchase prices for vanadium products. At the same time, some of them planned to conduct maintenance in winter. Besides, as most users replaced vanadium products with ferroniobium, vanadium market saw a sharp decrease of buyers. So most producers stared to lower prices to promote sales. As a result, the prices plummeted, and insiders lost confidence in the market outlook.
