1. Market Highlights
In October, mainstream prices for Chinese antimony ingot and antimony trioxide went down significantly. After the National Day holiday, the market saw weak demand and few transactions, so some suppliers slightly lowered prices to recoup funds. In spite of the production restriction, prices for these two materials dropped further in mid-to-late October due to the lack of support from demand. At the same time, buyers at home and abroad all took a strong wait-and-see attitude, and the market saw no improvement in transactions, most of which were still of small volume. By late October, transaction prices were still edging down.
