1. Market Highlights
CRC and HGI coil prices in Chinese leading markets moved up slightly in the first half of September, supported by higher raw materials' prices. However, they fell back gradually and the slide accelerated in the second half of the month due to the bad market transaction and falling prices of raw materials. Traders suffered a lot on high purchasing cost and were pessimistic about the coming market in Q4 of this year. As the demand failed to strengthen in the traditional high season this year as it did in past years, it is difficult for CRC and HGI coil markets to show improvement in the coming month. Insiders predict that prices of CRC and HGI coil are likely to fall slightly in October.
