In August, Chinese titanium market witnessed different price trends. With respect to the upstream raw materials, prices for ilmenite edged up and transactions recovered; prices and transactions for high titanium slag were stable; prices for titanium tetrachloride increased further and the supply was still short; prices for titanium sponge moved up further and the spot supply was still tight; prices for titanium mill products moved up sharply and the enquiries increased.
