1. Market Highlights
In July, vanadium prices in both Chinese and international markets remained stable at high levels due to soft demand. In particular, prices for vanadium pentoxide flake, powder vanadium and ammonium metavanadate, the raw materials, all showed downward trend to some extent after reaching high levels. Prices for ferrovanadium went down as steel mills purchased at low prices. Prices for vanadium-nitrogen alloy stood firm at high levels without changes. The vanadium market saw relatively sluggish transactions as most market participants waited on the sidelines.
