1. Market Highlights
In June, in domestic market, the dominating prices for Chinese zircon sands, zirconium chemicals and fused zirconias went down for subdued demand on the whole. Prices of Chinese zirconium silicate and zirconium sponge prices stood stable. The market demand became poorer on the context of environmental acceptance check on Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Henan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and Ningxia from May 30t till late June.
In June, in the overseas market, Australian, South African zircon sands' import prices stood flat with slow supply. Tronox would increase zircon sand prices by USD175/t in H2 2018, while Iluka and RBM would keep zircon sand prices stable in Q3 2018. Indonesian zircon sand market witnessed limited supply and price uptrend.
