In May, Chinese titanium market witnessed different price trends. As for upstream raw materials, prices for ilmenite move down sharply with limited transactions; those for high titanium slag dropped further with stable transactions; those for titanium tetrachloride increased with still tight supply; those for titanium sponge were firm with still strong wait-and-see sentiment prevailing in the market; those for titanium mill products were stable and transactions were not so sufficient compared with those in April.
